![]() ![]() It came in handy and overall saved us a little bit of money. We also purchased the Wolf Pass for our kiddos. If you like to budget and know exactly what you can spend, beware! Prices are very expensive and it’s easy to rack up a big bill with snacks, meals, drinks, etc. So we of course went over and owed money at the end. You cannot order meals off any menu there for that price range. We were told to plan on spending $10 a person for lunch and $20 a person for dinner to stay within the amount of money this package covered. We purchased the Breakfast Lunch and Dinner package. The website is completely misleading on the meal plan purchases. There was hair still in the bathroom and a stain on our sheets. However, upon our arrival, our room was not cleaned to top standards. Our room wasn’t cooling and was fixed within 20-30 minutes of reporting the issue. Everyone we spoke with were very friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with customer service. ![]() There were many things that were great at Great Wolf Lodge and there were things that are very poorly executed. Take your own toiletries, especially lotion because the water really dries out your skin and very little is offered in the room, there was no hair conditioner either. The rooms do have a mini fridge, tiny coffee pot and a microwave. There is honestly no benefit in actually staying at the hotel itself. If-huge if-we do go back we will stay at a different hotel and just purchase passes for the water park. Just know these rooms are comparable to a 2 star hotel. We didn’t get to do MagiQuest because of the time we lost because of this issue. Later that evening my husband finally went back to the front desk and talked to the manager and she gave us the night free but we would have much rather had our evening free from the frustration and been able to play with our kids. We missed an entire evening because of the lack of communication and the horrible room conditions. No one contacted us! They did not offer to help us move our luggage all the way across the hotel either. After a couple hours, a mediocre dinner and a “surprise” in our free ice cream we still had not had any communication back about our room so we checked with the front desk and they had keys for us. The housekeeping manager was very apologetic and offered us a different room and ice cream. We arrived in the evening planning to settle in, have dinner and do a few activities but our room was disgusting (see pictures below). ![]() Management is limited and passive about issues if they arise. There is a Starbucks at the lodge but we went to the one right down the street while we were out for breakfast. For the price there are much better and cleaner restaurants for breakfast and dinner. The wait for breakfast was two hours and the one night we had to eat dinner there it wasn’t great. I don’t suggest eating anything at the lodge besides lunch and snacks. They were good about requiring masks and handed them out to those who were not wearing one. Also, there is NO social distancing and everything besides the water park is extremely understaffed. Paw Passes are worth it but be prepared to wait in line for EVERYTHING. It can be quite a distance back to your room so I was glad I packed a swimsuit cover and cozy towels. Do bring your own beach towel to go back to your room and lounge chair cover if you have one. You are not allowed to bring in your own food/drinks into the water park so I would highly suggest a cabana. They are private and most importantly clean. It was nice to have someone checking in ever 15 minutes or so. We had pizza everyday for lunch and it was good. You also have a server 11-6 to bring you food and other (adult) beverages. If you see a housekeeper grab clean towels if you need them and I just set our trash and dirty towels outside the door daily. Also, daily housekeeping is not done on a daily basis due to COVID-19 unless you request it. The rooms are not very clean and while there are hand sanitizing stations they are empty the majority of the time. Pack Clorox wipes, Lysol spray, hand sanitizer and trash bags. ![]()
